Project Architect
Chris comes to Coburn after 16 years at Arcadea Architecture, specializing in custom residential remodels, additions, and new builds in and around Boulder County. Chris earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Southern California School of Cinema-Television with a minor in Fine Arts Drawing and started his career as a scenic designer at Sony Pictures Animation in Los Angeles. As the son of an architect in Estes Park, CO, Chris had always garnered an inherent admiration for architecture which, when combined with his abilities as a scenic designer, facilitated a foray into Architectural Illustration while living in Missoula, MT with his wife and growing family. His passion and interest flourished upon returning home to Colorado and led him to earn a Masters in Architecture from the University of Colorado, Denver in 2008
Left to his own devices, Chris is a wonderer. He enjoys exploring and discovering new sights and environments, both built and natural. Chris has volunteered on the City of Loveland Affordable Housing Commission and Novo Restoration in Loveland (instrumental in ‘saving’ the Loveland Feed and Grain), and is a licensed architect in Colorado.
