Pitchfork is a 100-unit residential neighborhood in Mt. Crested Butte, Colorado that was formerly owned by the Crested Butte Mountain Resort. As part of the purchase agreement with the resort, Coburn committed to provide 30% affordable housing for qualified Gunnison County residents. Designed to combine a mountain aesthetic with innovative design, the project creates a pedestrian-scaled neighborhood surrounded by meticulous architectural and site design elements. This rich architectural character has helped make it one of the new models for mountain town redevelopment.
