Diagonal Plaza | Boulder, Colorado
Contour Boulder is a 324,000 SF mixed-use development with 207 units spread across four market-rate buildings. The project is located at the intersection of Diagonal Highway and 28th Street in Boulder and required an extensive and unusual entitlement process, including a city ordinance, to allow it to move forward. The development introduces several new street-facing retail spaces along 28th Street and adds two new streets connecting 28th Street to areas to the east. Building 1 features an elevated third-floor plaza with a pool and gathering areas for residents and includes solar panels to offset a portion of the project’s energy consumption. Multistory townhouse-style units are incorporated throughout the project, along with a mix of studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom flats. Construction was completed in Summer 2025.
