Bill Coburn is the company founder and president. He oversees acquisitions, construction, project development and entitlements for the Crested Butte office. Bill’s unique vision for the future, combined with a strong commitment to preservation, has served as the basis for Coburn’s distinction as an innovative design-build firm. Bill’s original and charismatic neighborhood concepts have transformed Boulder’s downtown landscape, and many of his projects have been recognized through local and national awards and publications. Bill served on the City of Boulder’s Landmarks Preservation Advisory Board from 1993 to 1998. He is currently living in Crested Butte, where he has created the innovative new Pitchfork development, a cutting edge new urbanist vision in the mountains. Bill has served on the Town Council to help shape Crested Butte’s future. Bill is involved in Gunnison River Ranch, a land preservation project that provides for clustered cabin sites while permanently protecting 450 acres of working ranch land. Bill graduated from the University of Colorado with a bachelor’s degree in geology.
